Grist Mill #2 is located on Bird’s Creek which is centrally located between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville is the perfect 1 bedroom unit with easy access. You can fish or wade the creek. The Grist Mill unit #1 has a queen bed, full kitchen, 1 full bath with a shower and WIFI for streaming. Also, located in the living room is a fireplace for cozy nights. The Grist Mill is built in the design of the late 1800s but it is not that old. The owner just wanted people to get the “good ole days” feeling when they stayed. This is a very spacious unit and clean with modern amenities. Another plus, the grist mill is located in the area that Dolly Parton was raised and behind you will see the school she attended when she was in grade school, Caton’s Chapel. A little updated from her time though. In walking distance of Grist Mill #1 is Dunn’s Market, which has one of the best country ham biscuits. They also serve bacon, hash browns and country gravy. If you want a quick bite for lunch, they also serve lunch.
